Something for everyone
You’ll find everything at your doorstep with the beach only a short few minutes’ walk away through the adjacent nature reserve. Feel the sand and surf sink into your skin as you spend your days swimming or just lazing in the sunshine. Take a relaxing stroll along the beach or settle in with that long overdue book. If you’re feeling more active you can always go exploring through the lush rainforest walking trails which lead up to the Cape Byron Lighthouse and Australia’s most easterly point for panoramic views or a spot of whale watching.
It’s only five minutes by car or a leisurely walk along the beach into the township of Byron Bay. Go shopping at the many boutiques, enjoy a luscious meal at a restaurant or a coffee in a cosy café, visit the markets or catch some music, a performance or a film. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can take a leisurely drive through the hinterland to the Crystal Castle, Bangalow, Minyon Falls in Nightcap National Park, Broken Head, Brunswick Heads and the surrounding areas.
